Over £100 million in investment has been attracted to Bristol through Future Space, generating over 500 jobs across various sectors and contributing £27.5 million in GVA to the local economy.

More than 100 internship opportunities have been provided, giving students hands-on experience and companies access to emerging talent.

Diverse workspace

Future Space features 33,231 sq ft of lettable space, including 11 wet labs, 6 dry labs, and 3 shared lab spaces, enabling cutting-edge research and product development.

Future plans

Future Space is focused on strengthening its role as a hub for innovation and collaboration. Under the leadership of new Centre Director Professor Matt Freeman, the centre is enhancing its R&D pathway in partnership with UWE Bristol. This initiative brings together academics, students, and entrepreneurs to create new ideas and drive enterprise outcomes.

The organisation will continue to nurture businesses through its innovation ecosystem, supporting companies in scaling their operations and further contributing to economic and technological advancements in the region.
